What size lazy Susan do I need?

How to choose the size lazy Susan for my table? Two considerations when choosing size... Set ups and Reach. Set ups are usually between 16 and 20 inches. The average adult reach is between 17 and 21 inches. For your table size of 62 inches "if round" the best size is a 30 inch Susan. For your round table size of 72 inches then a 36 inch Susan. See Charts below. This would leave you 16-18 inches for both set ups and reach. Your guests will be able to reach items on the Susan without standing, and have room for set ups. Set Ups are plates, cups, silverware, napkins, mats. The size of set ups vary and can be as small as 14 inches or as large as 22 inches. The average set ups run 16-18 inches so that is what we use for our formula. Reach is defined as reaching items on the Susan without standing. If your table is so large that it’s not functional, then having a Susan that is to small will not fix the problem. Having your guests reach items without standing will allow functionality.
