The top is made with 1+ inch thick wood planks, NO MDF board or Formica but REAL wood, thick, strong, built to last, and finished to your liking. The optional bottom panel is made with 1/2" stock if needed for sizes over 36 inches. Our Susan hardware uses steel ball bearings and is rated to hold up to 1,000 pounds. When selecting your stain, if you are unsure, or wanting to match a stain, please select "Mail Stain Samples" and we will mail you samples before making your final stain selection. Samples cost more to ship Alaska, Hawaii, and International based on Country, but I only charge the postage difference. Rubber feet will protect your surface and prevent slipping when turning. If you select a stain or paint finish we will also add 7 coatings of Polyurethane or Polycrylic finish sealer to protect your surface and make cleaning a snap. Low VOC stains and sealers available on request. This product is made by hand and exact sizes may very a 1% to 3% smidgen. Please Note: This large knotty style wood lazy Susan is made with love by hand and they usually ship within 2-6 weeks after order is placed depending on your stain/paint/finish requirements.
